Some people simply like to have fun and throw a party. Scott and Christa were those people. There was never a moment during the day when somebody wasn’t laughing out of control. The weather managed to be absolutely perfect, considering it was a Saturday in February in Seattle. If you are from Seattle, you understand the rarity. It was frigidly cold and windy outside, but that didn’t stop them from taking over the golf course and having some fun with portraits.
There is Scottish heritage that runs deep in the family, thus the kilts and traditional Scottish outfits. Thankfully the men knew to wear undergarments as the wind would have definitely put on a display.
The sun peered thru the trees on the course during golden hour, making our portrait session one to remember. The ceremony is the shortest I have ever been to. Five, maybe six minutes tops. But that fit who there were. Lets make this happen so we can eat and dance.
Sand Point Golf Club is a historic and private club near Lake Washington, and was a perfect setting looking out over the cascades. They had great food and drink, and the gentlemen’s locker room was nothing short of an expected Gentlemen’s Club. Being in the golf industry for so long, I have seen many men’s clubs. Sand Point is the epitome of that.
Congrats Scott and Christa. I will always remember the kilts, laughs and dancing.
Cheers!
